Marissa Stewart – CEO Star Candy

Entrepreneur21.net showcase interviews of seasoned entrepreneurs. The interviews target those seeking motivation from people who have been where they are. These professionals open up about how they have gained their position through hard work. And, remind others that all they need is an idea and determination to start a successful business. An interview with CEO, Marisa Stewart, offered visuals of her product and the story of her beginning.

Marisa Stewart is the CEO of an underwear boutique named Star Candy. Her boutique offers a wide range of feminine and glamorous underwear for women. The signature style of her boutique are the panties and boy shorts designed with rhinestones. These underwear have become very popular among customers, including some celebrities. So far, Star Candy underwear is only sold on its website. But, Marisa Stewart is hoping to one day expand her business and land her product into major department stores.

The launching of Star Candy started off through unexpected events. She was very fond of designing her own T-shirts with her rhinestone designs by hand. One day, she decided to spruce up a plain pair of underwear. And, after catching the attention of her husband, Marisa took more liking into designing panties. More and more people liked this idea and influenced Marisa to make it branch out. That was all she needed to pursue her own company while doing what she loved.

Stories like Marisa's can be very inspirational. Her intention was not to start this company at first. She only did what she enjoyed. Starting a business can seem difficult for many. But, sometimes all someone needs is a story to keep from giving up. Knowing that their idea is worth expanding into something great. Therefore, persuading those around them that it is, too. Entrepreneur21.net provides the networking platform that will help get the word out about that business. Hopefully, leading it to a prosperous future.
